Windham Garde Plant Sale

Windham Garde Plant Sale

Every year the Windham Garden Club looks forward to bringing you our truly awesome Plant Sale!  Our first ever virtual plant sale last year was a success thanks to all our wonderful Windham customers.  The plant sale will be virtual again this year, but with a few additional changes.  We have expanded the perennial selection and added beautiful annuals and vegetables, a raffle, painting auction, and curbside pickup (as well as continuing our delivery option for a fee).

Proceeds from our Plant Sale go back to the Windham community. The money we raise benefits our Nancy Surette Memorial Scholarships (2 – $2000 awards) and the Arthur Baker Community Investment Grants.  We also support civic projects like the Nesmith Library butterfly garden and provide educational programs that are free and open to the public.

Visit our plant sale website at www.windhamgardenclubplantsale.org for the latest information on the sale.  Although you cannot shop for plants now you can peruse the selections. You will be able to purchase plants through the online shop starting at 9:00 PM on Wednesday May 19. Shop early for best selection! Raffle tickets are available now for purchase!  Payment will be made online.

We have our usual wide variety of perennials and you can browse the selections on the website. There is a picture and description of the available plants as well as the important characteristics like light and watering needs. The annuals selection includes herb, vegetables, and flowers.  Information on the available plants is being added daily, so check back often.  When you place your order, you can schedule a pickup time for Saturday, May 22, or Sunday May 23 at a local Windham address to be provided. Delivery to Windham only addresses will also be available for a $5.00 fee.

Be sure to check out the online auction for a beautiful oil painting entitled “Lupines by the Sea” by local artist John Kessler.  Also, we have wonderful raffle items including the beautiful sedum turtle pictured here.  There will also be window box planters along with herb planters and tomato planters.  We also have several garden themed baskets.  Take a chance on these beautiful items!  Raffle tickets are for sale on the site now.   Check back as some of these items as well as additional items will be added.  The auction and raffle will end at noon on Sunday May 23.
